Located in Fitiuta the Airport Fire Rescue Building is a single storey structure with a total area of 410m². The structure is steel framing with Kingspan prefabricated steelsandwiched panels for walls and roof. The Fire Rescue building consists of the fire truck garage, stores, office, a generator room, bedroom, bathrooms, kitchen and restroom. It was completed in 2009 at a total cost of around $1 million.
