The proposed new supermarket and produce market are divided into two separate buildings elements within the site. The supermarket is located along Vaea Street, the main axis road in Apia, while the produce market is located on Togafuafua Road which runs along a minor axis parallel to Vaea Street. The Denarau Shopping Mall is the largest shopping centre in the Denarau Area; the building consists of four two storey buildings with a total of 30 retail units and 31 offices. The buildings are married together by an internal mall area that houses the retail shops. The complex overlooks the main ferry terminal in Port Denarau and features cafes and restaurants.
