FLOOR AREA: 374 m2 total floor area
A steel frame building is wrapped in corrugated steel cladding and the roofing provides a rigid headquarter office for the Red Cross in the Cook Islands. The building functions as a cyclone management center as well as providing main offices for the organization. The building includes a large open 270m2 space to cater for people during cyclone emergencies, kitchen and toilet facilities, while the upper mezzanine floor is used for conferences and offices for the Red Cross volunteers. The 1485m2 site includes 15 car parking spaces for volunteers and service vehicles.
